Colorado - Colorado Springs

Arrived in Colorado, finally.  Although the first several hours of Colorado looked much like Kansas. Until the Rockies appeared outside Denver.

 

Then we took the Cog Railway to the top of Pike's Peak, elevation 14,110 feet.

 



The views were stunning, Kansas off one way, and New Mexico to the south.  It was chilly up that high, and yes, there was some snow.

 

 

Then we toured Garden of the Gods. Beautiful red rock formations.  I never realized Colorado had the red rock like Sedona.

 





Move it a little more to the left1

 

 

 

Then off to see the cliff dwellings.
